Have you ever wonder why...
Why is it that people say they "slept like a baby" when babies wake up like every two hours?
Why are you IN a movie, but you're ON TV?
Why do doctors leave the room while you change? They're going to see you naked anyway.
Why is "bra" singular and "panties" plural?
Did you ever notice that when you blow in a dog's face, he gets mad at you, but when you take him for a car ride, he sticks his head out the window?
Why are Irishman and Chinaman; are one word but any other countries man is two words. Example: American Man, Japanese Man, Russian Man, Turkish Man, Canadian Man.
Farewell, You Will Be Missed.

NORTH CHARLESTON, South Carolina (AP) -- Nine caskets lined the front of a coliseum as thousands of firefighters from across the nation, their hats in their hands as bagpipes played, honored nine colleagues who died battling a furniture store blaze.Uniformed escorts walked the men's wives, siblings and children to their seats in a long procession of red carnations, tears and hugs.
Monday night's fire created the single largest loss of firefighters' lives since the September 11 terror attacks.

N.Z. Couple Can't Name Their Son “4real”
Pat and Sheena Wheaton said they decided to name their new baby "4real" shortly after having an ultrasound and being struck by the reality of his impending arrival.
But when the parents filed the name with New Zealand's Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages, they were told names beginning with a number were against the rules.
The government office has opened negotiations with the parents about the name under a policy that says all unusual names must be given case-by-case consideration.
Quadruplets work at same supermarket
The 17-year-old lads — left to right Jack, Tom, Peter and Matt Nottingham — are employed at the same Sainsbury’s store in Hove, East Sussex.
The boys wear matching uniforms and are identical apart from their different haircuts — but it is rare that all four are ever on the same shift. Jack said: “We work different hours so don’t get to see that much of each other.”

Heaven and Hell
The cooks are French,
The policemen are English,
The mechanics are German,
The lovers are Italian,
The bankers are Swiss.
In Hell:
The cooks are Mexicans,
The policemen are South Africans,
The mechanics are Chinese,
The lovers are Australians,
The bankers are Russian.
Teacher sees double: 5 sets of twins in one class of 20
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=462908&in_page_id=1770At an early age children are taught that two plus two makes four.
But pupils at one primary school have quickly learned to expand that basic calculation. And now they know that five pairs of twin’s makes ten toddlers - and one very confused teacher.
The children also know that their twinned friends make up an entire half of the pupils in one class at Pembroke Dock Community School in Wales.

Fran Thomas is in charge of calling out the repetitive register every morning for her nursery class of 20. She is already getting used to doing a double take with the children who were all born within six months and live less than a mile from each other.
