Fitness Tip for the day

Sensible weight loss programs do not encourage starving yourself or skipping meals. If you skip meals not only will you get hungrier later but your body may have to break down muscle to get the nutrients it needs. You may end up lighter but fatter (by percentage of body fat) and flabbier. If a quick weight loss diet program says to skip meals then skip that diet.

Joke for the day

When an Arkansas moon shiner who had been convicted a number of times before was again brought into the court,
The judge told him sternly: "Before passing sentence, I want to tell you that you and your sons have given this court more trouble than anyone else in the entire state of Arkansas. Have you anything to say?"

"Well, Judge," said the old fellow, "I just want to say that we haven't given you any more trouble than you've given us."

Being Dog Tired

Tired Dog
One afternoon, a woman was working in her back yard when a tired-looking dog wandered into the yard. The woman could tell from the dog's collar and well-fed belly that he had a home. But when she walked into her house, the dog followed her, sauntered down the hall and fell asleep in a corner. An hour later, he went to the door, and the woman let him out.

The next day the dog was back.
He resumed his position in the hallway and slept for an hour.
This continued for several weeks.
Curious, the woman finally pinned a note to his collar: "Every afternoon, your dog comes to my house for a nap."

The next day when he arrived with a different note pinned to his collar: "We have six children. He's must be trying to catch up on his sleep."

Arkansas Mom Preparing for Birth of 17th Child

TONTITOWN, AR - The Duggars are once again pulling out the pink ruffles and lace as they prepare for the birth of baby #17.
Michelle Duggar says the whole family is excited about the arrival of the baby girl they will name Jennifer Danielle, keeping with the family tradition of giving the child a name that begins with J.
Jennifer Danielle is due July 27.
Duggar, who is 40, says she’s doing fine with her latest pregnancy. Although she has gotten older since she had her first child at age 21, she says she still has plenty of energy and only minor aches and pains.
Duggar says she and husband Jim Bob, a former state representative and U.S. Senate candidate, view each phase of their children’s lives as an adventure.
The Duggars home school their children at their 7,000-square-foot home in Tontitown. The couple’s oldest child, Joshua, is 19, and their youngest, Johanna Faith, is 19 months. Their children include two sets of twins.

And their website provides some fun facts:
Michelle’s been pregnant for 126 months of her life.
Average number of months between Duggar births is 18.
The Duggars have had at least one baby born in every month except June.
The Duggars do approximately 200 loads of laundry each month.
The Duggars feed their entire brood for less than $2,000 per month.
The only person in the Duggar family whose name doesn’t start with “J” is Mom — Michelle.
The Duggars are debt free.
